Default carbon kevlar; Shine Auto flexing it's skills once again...

Shine Auto Project is now in the process of perfecting their skills with working with carbon kevlar. As some of you know I entered SEMA 2009 this year with the help of quite a few sponsors and Shine Auto was nice enough to provide me with a carbon kevlar spec - R diffuser we have just released. The thing is my current car's current form sports the V2 with carbon fiber 2x2 weave integrated in the lip, canards and sideskirts w/ a carbon kevlar rear diffuser. If there is enough interest/sure buyers in carbon kevlar trimmed kits we are willing to produce it if there are any takers using my car first off.

Let us know your feed back as well as any "serious inquries".

*car in its current state...

Thanks,
Ben

What are the benefits of carbon kevlar vs. the currently available material?

from my understanding kevlar should be stronger than cf but i think might slightly weigh a tad bit more but nothing significant

if anything its basically preference and rarity in my two cents..

if you really carried about weight for tracking or motorsports then "dry carbon" would be your solution but i do not think its necessary for street cars as well as "track-themed show cars"

is the diffuser an original design from Shine, or is it a knock off?

For any of the street cars here, just looks. For track cars it's impact resistance. Properly integrated Kevlar or Carbon/Kevlar will hold the cracked bodywork together if you bump fenders so its not all over the track. Also has the benefit of being cheaper.
As for SAP, I support the effort 100% if this is actually a new part, or is this just another replica?

thanks for the props on the car bro, we're seeing the interest to see if there will be more interest in producing carbon kevlar kits and if there is i might get my v2 carbon kevlar trimmed to match my rear and wheels

the hardware next to my lights are sparco fasteners which come handy since i do track my car and need to take off my bumper in an efficient manner

the diffuser is a replica of the revolfe rear diffuser

carbon pics are up on our thread !!!!!!!!!!!

Nice car.

Are the latches on the front bumper functional? How difficult are they to install? How much modification is need to make them work? Are there any other bolts needed to keep bumper attached? I'd love to do this to my front bumper to make it easier to remove my front bumper. Thanks for any info.
