just read through the thread, looks like alot of work, but at least you did it proper instead of having a terribly fit kit after spending the money on it. Love the look so far, I'm sure at this point you're dying of anticipation.
Hey did you fill in the vent thats supposed to be in the front fenders? Or did it come like that? And my car is supposed to be finished in early march, I havent forgotten about the wheels.

davidc81: No worries, there is something about pregnant woman that I like as well. It really helps that its my wife. I get to have all the fun I want.
atomicgoofball: Thanks, she is due Apr 11. I am quite excited, dying in aticipation for my car and for my son, words can not describe how I feel. He will be our first.
zrzly?: Yeah, after found out that I couldnt send back the kit, I knew that it was going to cost to make it look good, I know I skimped on the kit, only reason being I heard Do_Luck was not shipping anymore so I figured no other choice. I was lied to by the vendor about the quality though. In the end, you wont be able to tell the difference.
06z33: Yes there were vents in the front fenders, I filled them in. I didnt like the vents and I felt they would down the road cause problems since water would be able to get in and would be trapped at the bottom of the kit and create issues with body damage. Ounce of measure is better than a pound of cure any day.

are you still going by the color code I gave you ? because the Balloon White does have a hint of black in it.
I know it might seem a little off at first, I remember getting a test sample from my paint guy and thinking it's not white enough, it seemed kind of dark.
I just told him to add shitload of pearl in the mix and it ended up coming out pure colombian cocaine white bro

don't worry bout it too much it should be fine, but if you're looking for a super bright white take a look at some of the 2010 model Audis, their white is even brighter and whiter than BMW's Alpine White.

yes still using the same code, i thought it was going to be whiter as well but it really looks sexy against the black. No worries, I will run with what I have since he already sprayed the car.

I dont know who you got yours from but if I could do it all over again, i wouldnt have, i would have gotten something different. I love the kit but there was too much drama that was involved with this kit and things i had to do to fix the fitment, the skirts and rear bumper had to be completely replaced and the side skirts still suck as you can see in the pics. Oh well, sunk cost now. It will look great I am sure.
