Default OEM wing on Seibon Carbonhatch?

Someone did? Did you drill holes? Have the Seibon hatch and want to upgrade the hatch with the oem spoiler+ Gurney flap : ). Or someone has another little spoiler for the hatch? not the Blitz..

i think the seibon hatch is the same shape as the OEM hatch, so you can put any 350z spoiler on there. you would have to drill holes on the hatch to attach the spoiler correctly.

It will work and it will look bad in my opinion. Get a CF spoiler or dont do it.

Just think before you drill into CF. You can destroy the hatch and you will be stuck with a non CF spoiler on a CF hatch that can not be removed for the clean look cuss you butchered the CF twill.

So can I now drill holes into my cf hatch, that i can use screws under the hatch?!

The oem spoiler gets carbon`ed by a member of the german 350z community : ). After this I will install a gurney flap for more downforce on it:

so?

Could the spoiler be attached with 3M double sided tape? Where in Germany are you? I don't see too many Z's around here. I'm near Nurnberg.

Why not just double sided tape on a oem spoiler. Many members including myself have done this without problems. And my car seems very hot temps here in south Florida along with tons of rain. No problems at all. In fact, Im sure if I ever wanted to sell it I would probably crack it getting it off.

Living in 74861 - Baden Württemberg = ).

Thanks Rob. But not sure, if it will hold on a cf hatch on german autobahn with more downforce than normally (Gurney Flap)

God, I love the autobahn. I think I might have got a ticket on there a couple nights ago. Saw the dreaded red flash, but I was close behind a car in front of me, so I'm hoping they got it and it didn't get me.

maybe you´ve been too close to the car drivin in front of you?! hey maybe you wanna join us on a z meet? i`m livin near munich

Well could a bodyshop "glue" it to the cf hatch so it would stay on at speeds over 200mph? simple double sided tape isn´t strong enough i think

I haven't used any double sided tape, but I think there is a automotive grade that people have used on body pieces. Maybe go to a body shop and ask them if they sell it or where to buy from. It's supposed to be really strong stuff.

I'm sure a body shop could glue it too. Epoxy that thing on and it won't go anywhere. I am thinking about getting my rear fenders epoxied on too. Just got to find a shop to work the regular fenders so I can get some more tire on under the over fenders.

A meet sounds great. Too bad there is so much snow on the ground right now. I'd be down for one today.
