i have an 06 350z and got some condensation in my drivers side headlight. noticed it after the last snow about 4 days ago. i was wondering if the water could do any damage to the headlight? if so what should i do?

2 options..

1- take off the headlight and cook it, pray it open and seal it again with a good sealant.
2- buy a new headlight.

others might have good ideas as well.. wait till they chim in

Read the diy for blackout headlights to learn how to take them apart.

well i have 3 options really, depending on the weather

1. open them up and reseal them
2. open them up paint them black like i want, im just worried about the paint in the cold, then reseal them
3. if the condensation wont damage anything wait until the spring when its warm and open them up to reseal and paint them

whats my best bet? heres some pics by the way

if your car gets exposed to direct sunlight after condensation, they might get burnt spots (since the humidity inside the headlight dries by sun heat).. and that's what happend to my headlight.. never done anything to fix it tho..
