okay, i searched but didnt really get the answers i wanted..
i just bought a us car.. i live in canada though.. ive been driving it for a while now and i cant stand the mph.. i keep having to double check what im doing and i dont like that.. so what can i do? can i go to nissan and have new speedometer backing ordered? and new little center guage ordered?

or go to the junkyard

OP - pm me, I have a JDM kph cluster available (9000 rpm tach version) that I used in my car. I've since changed to an aftermarket cluster so I don't need it anymore

the 3 gauges in the center are a separate cluster, and yes, you can change it out for a metric one if you want, though the only metric measurements on there IIRC are speed (if you cycle the buttons to display speed) and temperature

 

you can do an LED color swap. The place where you have to buy your cluster faces can do KPH too. Or you really dont even need to swap LED's if you dont want the hard work.





It looks like the speedometer will still read right if you just switch the faces. Its pretty easy. Its the soldering of new 4 post surface mount LED's that gets tricky.(which you dont have to do if you don't switch colors.
