Painting z interior pieces
Is there direction somewhere to remove the z interior pieces so I can' paint black I'm refering to the steering wheel, shifter ring and the door handles and vent bezels, also the dashboard gages are they just using that as a pocket or is that the whole Gage one piece that just look like it's separated? Thanks in advance for help
Lol, I just read that one earlier. Is your interior frost or are you just going to paint all the nicely done factory trim so your car has no contrast?
im just trying to remove that brushed look its peeling around the gear shifter so i figured i would paint the peices a matte black, i had prob looking out hatch cause the glare would always put the rear strut brace reflection in window and i though it was annoying i painted that black and it looks good so i think the rest of interior would look alright with it............no didrespect to how others did it but if i gotta take short cuts(like painting in place then i wont do) ill just leave it........and as far as the factory service manual does anyone know where i can find this in a PDF file or something....i dont think i can check it out at the libary,lol.......i appreciate all the leginimate responses....sorry to admin for having to move this tread,
There's an FSM around I'm sure. I don't know if I'd like to make public where I acquired mine. However if you'd can't find it and you'd like to know, send me a pm.
Imo strip it and paint it silver again; contrast is good. But it's your car and your choice.

Thanks, sometimes you can never be clear enough for people
...although i do appreciate the link he sent cause that was just dumb i love seeing people so stuff like that... atleast this one is easily reversable
I understand where your coming from i appreciate the input but it's a black z lowered with factory 7 spoke wheels powdercoated black, very very clean looking with a aggressive look if it was any other color i prob wouldnt do it but i dont think considering it all black anyway.........and the contrast will come in the headliner and the fact that the car has so many textures between the door panels dash etc so matte blk might look ok
