Sometimes won't roll down and if it does roll down it sure as hell won't roll back up unless I beat the hell out of the door panel. There is a streak down the inside of the window about the width of a postage stamp as well. How do I fix this? I'm embarassed as hell.

I suspect you need to have a new motor installed. You can do it yourself by buying a motor at Autozone or have the dealer put in your new motor.

 

Buy a refurbished motor from advance discount auto online. I just replaced mine a week ago. The driver side window was doing the same exact thing...I would refrain from beating on the door, just leave it up.

It worked fine after the install. Theres a DIY on the forums on how to do it
