The issue comes into play with the mount really. The OEM mount curves to the right a little and Wedge "CA" makes it solid and straight back there on the right. All in all it was almost perfect with the front mount but I had the re-drill the holes for the rear. But some customizing was expected because this mount is for Cobra seats and I have a Aero Design seat. Call Wedge and they will custom make the mount for you to what ever specs.

Now on to the Pics.
Yes, my Cobra's are top heavy like a ****.. , also wedge is expensive btw..

Bracket/Mount was $175 +shipping (http://www.subesports.com/products/c...bra/prodID/675)

Sliders were $79.95+shipping (http://www.subesports.com/products/c...bra/prodID/676)

I figured with the modding you were doing on perfect fitting CF side skirts you could easily drill a few holes

Yea I really appreciate you hooking me up with the seat mount.
I got lucky, the Aero Design seat came with slider attached.

Still do not know why your selling thous seats, they are the best looking Cobra seats I have seen.

It feels perfect and the helm guards don't bother me at all. I fit well but I can tell you right now a heavy set car jacker will be shiz out of luck.

Car is up and going well and the seat so far has been great. Only down side so far is the door hits the upper helmet guards and it is starting to make an indent in the materal on the door. The seat on the other hand seams stronger and shows no signs. Feels great and looks sexy. So far test is going well.

Update:

I got everything together took the Z out for a run around town in my new seat. Everything felt great, it was more go cart feel than OEM and could feel the road better. All in all it feels very sturdy and solid with the steel custom mount. I am enjoying the new feel for my car as it use to have the race car sound and speed but the OEM seats did not give me a race car feel.

To say the least the butt-dyno is now upgraded and more accurate.

A couple of pics, one of the seat "proof it did not fall apart under my @$$" and one of the dent in my door panel. LMAO

The door closes fine, specially now I have that little indent. "Note to all that like helm guards"

Just needs a couple adjustments and I think the helm guards will fit.... like a glove and then I will get Seibon door panels.

Correct helmet guards.. the large parts up top that put the dent in my door panel.

Those seats look pretty slick i am interested in the AD Ares... here is a link...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/x2-aD...Q5fAccessories

I want to go with these mainly because they are recline-able and you can supposedly use your stock seat belt clip in, not sure how easy it is to install that and i don't know of anyone who has these in a 350z.

My main question is how much of a challenge it was to mount these, should i go with the same mount you used or would you suggest something different? I'm pretty sure the sliders would be the same on the ares vs your seat.

Get the seats first and when they get there measure the size to the middle of the top and bottom mounting holes for the sliders. They come attached to the seats, then go here http://www.wedgeengineering.net/ and give them your size of mount needed. The mounts they sell have a bar for the seat belt. It is very easy.
