Default Smoked Reflectors for newer Zs

I am thinking about smoking my front reflectors on my 08. Trying to decide if I should use film or actually paint them? No one seems to be selling pre-made ones yet....

Just paint them, much easier/cheaper.

film is even easier than painting... Just buy a sheet of tint and apply it yourself

True, film may be a bit easier, and not permanent. But unless you are putting the film on a clear reflector, doing it on the amber one gives it a dark purplish look, not black. Depending on what the op wants, either film or paint.

i saw a post of someone wanting to sand it and the primer and clear coat.. is this really necessary if im going to take the top piece off and just paint the inside? Technically I could just spray paint it... kinda leaning towards that
