seibon ts hood, closing off a vent
everyone says that you don't need to worry about the vents on the seibon ts hood, but I've found a couple of people that have had their air filters absolutely soaked in a good drive in the rain.
I have a pop charger and there is one vent that is right above it. I was considering sealing it off as a precautionary measure, but figure water will just collect there and probably be a problem of it's own. has anyone blocked off one of the vents or rerouted where the water would run under the hood? is the rerouting option too much of a pain in the ***, should I just seal it off?
or should I add on to the heat shield of the pop charger and make it more like an oem style air box? I considered just throwing the oem airbox back on but I don't really want to do that.

I also notice that in the rain the belt gets wet causing the alternator to slip for about 15 seconds until it kicks all the water off the belt. Sounds odd but thts what I've come to notice. I have an injen intake routed to the front bumper so I don't have the same problem as u do.

Daily drivers can not have many vents and if there open vents they must be in the right place.
