Default Anyone have Astek Bumper from VIS

Was looking at the Astek front bumper from VIS. Someone on here is trying to sell my one that is already painted my color (Chrome Silver) and the price seems to good to be true, to make it worse he has under 20 posts.

1) How is VIS quality? If I lightly scrap once is there a good chance I'll crack?
2) Does anyone have this bumper and have some photos available? I tried looking online buy shouldn't find many.

Was hoping to get some unput on VIS quality from other members. Was hoping some people on here have that exact bumper so I can see better what it looks like on the Z. All the photos online are crappy.

I think I know what seller your refering to. Ask if you can meet up and test fit, that way you can see the fitment befor you buy it. As for pictures, look in the auto infantry scam thread, a guy with the name rob has one on his car, not sure if it's a VIS though.

his is VIS.... I sold it to him

as for the bumper... I sell mostly VIS products along with ABS and a few other replicas... the SL2 or i think as VIS calls it "Astek" has decent fitment and i wouldn't worry about it much unless its cracked or tweaked in some way. those dont have many fitment issues... not saying that THAT ONE wont tho

My Ings+1 replica kit from them seems to be near perfect in fitment.

damn this is such a hard choice. I like that the astek sl2 is already painted my color so I just have to slap it on. On the other hand I really like the amuse bumper but I would then have to get it painted :/

Bumping this thread for a simple question for Astek/Strafe SL2 bumper owners.
I just purchased an Astek front bumper from Outcast Garage but it didn't specify which fender liners were needed. I called them and they aren't totally sure either.
So to those that have the bumper, do I need the 03-05 fender liners or the 06-08 fender liners? Thanks

Your liners should work. I just ordered this bad boy. Had to replace my Authentic Nismo v3 because its cracked from a damn dog running out in front of me :/

Wanted to try something different. Seen a solar orange Z with one in person and it looks really sweet. Fitment was perrrfffeecccttt.. Only thing is, its not polyurethane. Wish it was. Will post pics when it comes in!

I realized this after I received mine. So now I have to sell my astek and search for a poly bumper.
And as far as liners go, I believe they left the bumper smooth on the bottom so you have to add holes for your liners, i think. Pretty sure they did that so any liners would work.
