Question Need help removing glue from carbon fiber side view mirror covers.

When I bought my car it came with carbon fiber mirror covers. I finally got around to removing them which was a total pain in the a$$. After removing them I was trying to remove the glue that was left behind which was such a pain that I couldnt even finish.
Anyway, its a black type glue that is pretty thick. Not sure if I need to apply heat to remove this because it was pretty cool out yesterday which didnt help.
Anyone know what I can use to remove this?

Also, dont install these unless you are sure you want to keep them!

Thanks,
Mike

What color is your car? If black just leave it...?
I would say heat(blowdryer) and floss...

Why would you remove CF? Anyway, try Goo Gone or fingernail polish. If all else fails, then a razor blade will do the job, but be careful not to scratch the paint.

Glue is relitively easy to remove. Glue forms a weak bond, and can be removed by braking down the compound with heat or a petroleum distillate.

Epoxy, on the other hand, is as strong as the original material. Properly applied it is not coming OFF.

You can remove Epoxy with Epoxy Remover.
