Default Using velcro to hang front license plate

i've got a front license plate ticket in which i have to put a front license plate and get it checked off by the cops. I was just wondering for anyone who has done the double sided tape method, what brand did you use? It seems like velcro's tape is a little on the harsh side and I'm afraid it's going to stick to my front bumper too well

also, for those with amuse front bumper, what alternative method did you use to attach the front license plate without drilling?

TIA

I would think the 3M double-sided tape would be worse on your front end, than velcro.

Why don't you use the Stillen front plate bracket? that one goes into the OEM tow hook location, and works on the Amuse front.

I would have to disagree. 3M tape is already on your car; the badges are held on by 3m tape. My tk badge is held on by 3m tape. As long as you dont rip the license plate off or it tears off, it should be fine with 3m tape.

Thanks Steve... I was thinking along those lines, but it didn't come out that way...

I'm not sure how the stillen one works but when i bought just a quick screw on grille to go over the stock front tow hook area it comes with these hooks that go over the black ridge and screws in, those hooks and screws could actually be used to screw your license plate on pretty easy and not look bad im assuming, that's assuming you guys can decipher what im trying to say.

The Stillen one screws on, just like the OEM tow hook does. And yes, it fits the Amuse front just fine. A friend of mine who had a PP Z with Amuse, used it all the time.

uh, what you're trying to say... I'm confused...

Maybe you can borrow one, from someone in the local area, just so you can deal with the ticket? or just zip tie it.

I got the plate ticket too....just used 3 zipties to hold it on. they looked, said ok it's mounted, and got rid of the fine.

2 long zipties to hold the top on, one zip tie to hold a bottom corner, and you're done.
