Hello folks,

I'm looking for a 350z and found a 06 350z.
according to the owner, the car has never been in any accident and clean title, however what I noticed was that the headlight still has the orange stipe on the side.

Does'nt 06 and up haedlight comes similar to the 07, and 08 with projectors?

are there any other main differences that I can double check to make sure that the owner is not lying to me? Vin number perhaps, can it tell the build year?

Last time I ran a CarFax report it told me the year, make and model for free, it's the history you have to pay for. And yes, if it's an 06 it should not have the "orange stripe" headlights.

i think the ac control ***** are different on 06 up? and look at tail lights for led's as well as 2 bar front grill. little things i know, but should be able to differentiate with that

 

Different headlights are nothing to be surprised about. There are so many Franken-Zs out there with swapped parts it's probably getting hard to find an old one with original parts.

Also, I noticed that on ebay that they mention 03-06 and a lot of parts are referencing 03-06 headlight as if its the same?

dont think too hard.. check the tach. should be rev-up...
