Yellow when comparing to a higher K. 43K is stock, I believe.

 

VLEDS.COM is the tops.. been thru the crap lights too.. and these ( in the 5k color) match lexus perfectly. They are BARELY blue..they are doctors office white led and are classy.

 

good find bmc. How long did it take u to receive bulbs? It says 5-10 day shipping.

 

hey man I got a spare off my 04 that I bought because I also thought my lights were gone , but found out water was inside the ballast. remove bumper , remove headlight and shake them and blow dry them. that worked for me. if still no solution I have one. bought it for 100 , I can do 35 shipped lmk

 

They match Lexus but what about 350z?
They have D2R 5000K PURE WHITE

Our factory ones is 4300k...

Are those are going to work on 350z with stock ballast?

And also I need to replace just one, is it better to replace as a pair because of the color difference?

 

03-05 Z's with HID need D2R bulbs, 06+ need D2S. It's really quite simple... I buy from theretrofitsource.com and get 5000K.

BTW I've had water inside my HID ballast as well, and shook the water out and let it sit for a few hours and they still work fine.

 

I got a pair of 6k bulbs from DDM for $15 including a lifetime warranty. They've been on my car for about a year and they're doing great. 6k is perfect for me. A very clean white, not ricey blue or yellow.
