Just built some ramps for the coilover install. Cheap pine, Ikea screws, and Liquid Nails ftw!

Couldn't really get good shots of the grill work, but every opening in the front is done. Just need to finish adjusting the hood and installing grills on the sideskirts and rear.

Installed 15mm spacers in the front today as well.. I HATE replacing studs. It completely eliminated my "booty shake" and the car feels like it's on rails again.

Nice, stance looks good.

Not sure if you planned on it or not but I would recommend some Aerocatch hood pins to help secure that hood, especially after what you just went through.

The spacers further accentuate the short sidewalls of the 295/30. Would look great with even a little more drop in the rear, like a small spring perch cut.

I'm putting in my coilover as soon as I can pick my bike up from my parents house. Is $200 ridiculous for a performance alignment? Or can I take it to any Jor Schmoe with a rack that the car will clear? There is a huge price difference, but I don't want to risk damage to anything. The closest Z tuner is a nice long ride. Can a lace like say Sears even adjust camber arms correctly???

My last alignment with camber adjustment was done at a dealer by a master tech, worked out totally fine.

+1
Same here, and if your local Nissan dealer is a GTR dealer, they can align your car on the same rack as the GTR's get aligned on. My dealer bought a new alignment rack just for GTR's that they had to dig into the foundation of the dealer to install. It sat flush with the ground

r/t tuning has a hunter alignment rack. Read about it here...

http://rttuning.com/ali/

$200 isn't bad if they are using the correct equipment. Give them a call if your interested. They might be a bit too far for you though.

That's who I was talking about. I just thought $450 was a little ridiculous to replace 18 bolts and do a little grinding. I'd rather bust a couple knuckles and use that money towards other things. Is getting it done there any better than getting it done at a dealer that services GTRs?

make sure the alignment shop knows how to corner weight. most joe schmo shops and dealers dont. thats why $200 is worth while

r/t tuning seems highly recommended from everyone around here that I know, and they do corner weighting as well, makes a huge difference as others said. Give them a call and i'm sure they'll go over everything with you. I'm not 100% sure on the pricing of the alignments, I will be going there when my Volks come in and I install the coilovers. I just don't trust dealerships around me, I hate going to them.

And just because some dealerships service GT-R's does not mean they will treat your car as one.

Just my opinion though, but then again, you might have a great Nissan dealer around you. I'd rather take my car to r/t tuning where you know they'll do it right.
