Question Driver seat removal question

I have a 03 350Z and the seat motor is dead. My seat is all the way back and I cant get to rear bolts to remove seat! Is there anyway to move seat manually so I can get to bolts? Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks

The motor that drives the seat forward and back is under the right front corner. It looks like you can get to the two screws that hold it to the seat rail assembly, so you might be able to remove the motor without removing the seat.

There's a flex shaft inside a housing that drives the left seat slider. That may keep you from removing the motor, IDK.

You might also be able to see a way to turn the shaft of the motor enough to move the seat forward to get to the rear bolts,, and then remove the entire seat.

As a last resort, there are four nuts (two on each side) on top of the seat rails that hold the seat to the sliders. Removing them should let you get the cushion off for better access to the rest of the stuff.

It's all shown near the end of section SE of the service manual, which you can download here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/
