hey, i just read up on the canard on the nismo v2 bumper, does it really slow down the car on the highway? if so how much slower, i have a boosted z and im wondering if it make any diff
i read up on 100 common question of the z, so idk if it true that why i ask, my z going 170 easily never feel any lag, i guess it just a myth about the canard
Most engineers that do CFD work on canards know and understand they are very "draggy". But when done correctly they are still very effective. The problem with the Nissan V2 design is most people have not seen the CFD data, and without that data it is tough to determine how efficent they are. I would assume they are designed well but until I see a CFD rendering I can't say. What I know from my expirence with my V2 is it doesn't noticeably feel "draggy-ier".
the moment I shift into the third the back end of my car lifts off of the ground cause of the canards. it was scary at first, but now that I've gotten the hang of it, it really impresses people
