hey, i just read up on the canard on the nismo v2 bumper, does it really slow down the car on the highway? if so how much slower, i have a boosted z and im wondering if it make any diff

I have the V2 front with canards and they don't do chit! Whoever said that they slow you down is a retard.

i read up on 100 common question of the z, so idk if it true that why i ask, my z going 170 easily never feel any lag, i guess it just a myth about the canard

Most engineers that do CFD work on canards know and understand they are very "draggy". But when done correctly they are still very effective. The problem with the Nissan V2 design is most people have not seen the CFD data, and without that data it is tough to determine how efficent they are. I would assume they are designed well but until I see a CFD rendering I can't say. What I know from my expirence with my V2 is it doesn't noticeably feel "draggy-ier".

the moment I shift into the third the back end of my car lifts off of the ground cause of the canards. it was scary at first, but now that I've gotten the hang of it, it really impresses people

oh i was racing my friend modded 2007 m5 his friend record he did 170 and i was beating him and my gauge went way pass 160 and stay there for a while

They may slow you down a bit, but you can drive upside down in tunnels, MIB style.

lol my friend turbo cobalt rape bolt on z all the time and i sat in his car and alway do 170 so it nothing surprise about 170
