Default Headlight Issues

I have 03 350Z with HIDs and my driver side headlight is on the fritz. On occasion it decides to work but typically doesn't. Do I go ahead and diagnose the problem as needing a new bulb or do I need a new connector? And if I do need a new connector where would I go about getting one?

Thanks for your help guys!

I had sorta this same problem. i tough it was the bulb so I went ahead and bought a new one and still had some problems so I took it with a friend (mechanic) and we discovered it was a simple fuse.

didnt know the z has 3 fuse boxes. lol

You can guess or use a continuity tester. About $10.

connect the tester to the battery then check each fuse by touching the point and if the fuse is working the tester will light up if it doesnt it means the fuse needs to be replaced.

the fuses you need to test are behind the battery in a box that pretty well hidden there. took me a long time to find it. lol
