This looks like a pretty good list for an undertray. Let us do some estimates tomorrow for the unit and see what we can come up with price wise. We need to see how we can make it into sections so that we can ship the units out. A huge undertray is going to cost a ton to ship.

On a side note, we have a shop ferrari 360 here that has naca ducts all over the bottom of its undertray. I'm sure we could splash them and integrate them into it.

You would have no problem selling lots of these if you make a quality product. Im interested but obviously depends on price and quality. And of course, function over form

I would be interested in a HR version of your vented hood.

Nice to see a new body kit for the Z.

They would be 450 + 175s/h. The only thing we are worried about is the heat from the exhaust system with sealing it all in 100%. Not sure if thermal wrapping the exhaust would be enough...

Let us know who is interested and some ideas to help with the exhaust heat issue.

This was the first thing I thought would be an issue. To effectively resolve you would need to either mock up and few different designs and test/data log and/or do some CFD. You also may want to adapt a different design, such as this S2000 design where it only covers the highly turbulent areas. You could further thin out the main plane to allow the ultra hot air to bleed out laterally. Again this creates a functionality problem by not controlling the air properly.

Also note, to get the benefit of creating a faster flow underneth the car a functional rear diffuser would be useful.

Also, regarding the heat from the exhaust system consider what Nissan did on the GTR...

Small vents in key areas would help pull hot air from those pockets if angled to create a vacuum and not scoop it in.

If you think the exhaust heat would be a problem, then maybe what they did to the GTR would be the solution.

Also, have you noticed how the GTR undertray is in 5 pieces?

Ok, so i've modified things a little on the undertray that may work a bit better.

I cut out most of the exhaust section to allow the heat to dissipate out.
I have also added a third venturi vent at the rear to draw out the heat produced from the diff and rear exhaust section.
I have also added some lines where i think the undertray could be sectioned from what i can see as far as bolt locations go.
Bare in mind this is just a rough idea, and as you can see from the picture things don't line up perfectly, but that becasue the photo has been glued together from two pics, and they don't quite line up properly. Anyway, just a thought.

Also, the shipping you have quoted at 175. Is that for the undertray in sections?
