Default Where can I get the Nismo Concept RS shift **** finisher?

UPDATE: Post #29

I'm pretty sure this is a standard Nissan part...I've seen it in R34 Skylines with the GT ****.

My question is where do I get it and what do I ask for? I'm referring to the piece in between the GT **** and the shift boot.

I've decided that while it looks kind of like the R34 finisher, it's not identical.

Good luck finding it. I tried a few years ago with no luck at all. You could try and see if some of the late 90-02 Maximas have them. I think they use somthing like it. I would just get the one that Zeetoyz sell. That's what I did and like it alot.

I couldn't find anything remotely similar there. A member here has a good write up for a finisher to go with the GT **** which is similar to the thing Zeetoyz sells...that will be a last resort.

Japan Parts said that the dealer in Japan didn't have a way to get it. But I highly doubt Nissan produced that one piece for the Concept RS...it has to be an existing Nissan part. I'll search the ends of the internet to figure this out.

Yeah...the 01-02 Maximas were the closest I've found so far. The new Sentra SE-R is similar too. I'm still not sure it's 100% exact, but I think I'm going to give it a whirl.

I tracked down a couple part numbers and looked at some part diagrams, but I can't tell if you have to get it as part of the shift boot or as part of the shift ****. I'll contact the dealer tomorrow.

It looks like I'll have to get the Maxima one b.c it looks to be black rather than gunmetal as in the SE-R. I wonder if the Altima SE-R has anything similar to it?

Well here's some "good" news... I went to Nissan today, and it was as I'd feared. To get that Maxima piece, you have to order the boot and the only way to get the boot is with the entire surrounding trim panel. The price? $170. The one from the Altima is too different.
