Default I need help installing "HIDEXTRA" HID's

I have an '03 Enthusiast with OEM Hid's. The ballast on the driver side is done...so I bought a "plug and play" HID kit from HIDEXTRA (vendor on this forum). Well....it isn't as easy as "plugging and playing". Has anybody else with OEM Hid's bought one of their HID kits? If so....can you PLEASE help me??

Link to the kit:

Sorry I won't have any pics posted tonight. Tonight is my oldest brothers 30th birthday....i will have pics posted tomorrow.

The HID kits are meant only to replace the lights for the 2003-2005 base models. The plugs are for the halogen lights only. I'm surprised the capsules would fit correctly since they should be H-7 bases.

I SPECIFICALLY told the HIDEXTRA sales rep that I have a "2003 350z Enthusiast with OEM HID's". I explained to her that one of my OEM ballasts blew, so I wanted to buy an entire replacement kit for my OEM HID's. I ordered a D2R kit. She said that this would replace my OEM HID ballasts and bulbs, "plug and play". Like I stated earlier.....this kit was FAR from plug and play.

yup , you only need the HID bulbs replacements since you already have oem HIDS , the kits are only for those with non HID. I ordered my bulbs from them and just replaced them with my oem. Hope this helps.

How did you diagnose that the ballast "blew"? You probably just needed a new OEM ballast.

Trust me...it's done.

The driver side headlight is my problem. I took the bulb out of the driver side headlight and put it in the passenger side. The bulb worked on the passenger headlight. I'm going to buy a used OEM ballast and hopefully return this kit.

Yes, I ordered the whole kit. But it looks nothing like the one you posted. I will PM you.
