Go back to black, too much blue, paint the side markers black also.

IMO keep the grille blue, lose the reflectors.

 

Paint is exactly the same as the reflectors and bumper were painted at the same time. Probably just the way the light bounces of them in pics. They are cell phone pics.

I've seen a Z with the reflectors just blended in so it looks like they were never there and it just looked wrong. Left the bumper without any definition.

 

I've looked and I doubt it would. I thought about trying it with some hood spacers but the problem is how far the front of the blower extends.

 

I liked it too, but after 4 years I am ready for something different. Also the hood was faded/oxidized REAL bad (those pics of the old look were taken 4 years ago) and my V1 front lip was ripped off of the freeway.

I still have the bumper with the cut out grille and authentic Varis duct if anyone wants to buy it!

 

Had the grille color matched to the OEM charcoal color of the 06+.

I'm leaving the reflectors paint matched for now... but I may swap them out for OEM smoke in a bit.

If I get a lip in the future it will be a urethane JP lip. I loved my V1, but I wouldn't do the same again.
