Post your window tint pictures 50%, 35%
I'm looking to tint my 07 carbon silver Z. I live in southern california, where the minimum legal tint for the front windows are 70%. I'm debating between 35% all around or 50% front driver, passenger windows and 35% back side quarters and rear. BTW looking for non reflective, since no reflective tints allowed in california.
I drive at night often, I can probably be fine and get by the police with 35% all around during the day, but when night comes i dont want to be hassled if it's too dark for them to see me. ex a cop pulling up next to me at an intersection. I'm not in the mood to roll my windows down every time a cop is near me either lol. I've search the internet and can't find any info about how the tints compare during the evening when it comes to the cops.
how would 50% front and 35% back look on a carbon silver z with black interior? will the difference be noticable? will the 50% be enough for the cops to ignore it at night? any pics of z's with that combination or close will be appreciated.

Ahaha that second picture is from the Lamborghini/Bentley dealership out in Chesterfield, good stuff, i take pics there too.
Also i would say if you can get away with 30 all around then do it, it will look much nicer then 50.

In VA, 50% front and 35% rear is the legal limit. I had 35% all around on my GTI before, and I always rolled down my front windows whenever I saw a cop.
Well four months later, a cop out of nowhere pulled me over for having 35's on the front. You will be fine with 50%, but at certain angles, 35% looks blacked out (especially at night and during rainy days).
*EDIT* So for OP, in a nutshell to answer your question. If you live in a state where they need to see your face through the front windows, with 35% all around, its only a matter of time before you get nailed.

just do 35 front and 20 rear. BTW no tint is legal on the front windows of your car in Cali.

looks like I'll be doing 35front 20 back tomorrow morning. I'm getting Madico tint. I appreciate the pictures guys. kinda like 20 on the back for the looks, some privacy, and blocking lights from SUVS who have their high beams on for no apparent reason.
If I do get rolled for it, i'll just remove the front and go 50% front, 35% corners, and leave the back at 20% so it still blends and won't cost much.
