Just curious to as if anyone has tried putting leds or other types of lights outlining their z's trunk. I saw Date Night and the r8 in that movie gave me an idea to try it out.. Has anyone done anything like this?




It's kind of hard to see, but theyre blue leds in the trunk.

Yeah on both sides of the rear . I know it's kind of hard to see but if you look at the r8's trunk you can see it's lit up blue.

Ok the R8 has those lights to display the engine in the rear. Has absolutely no purpose other than displaying the engine. WTF are you displaying in your trunk? Your hockey gear? Grocery bags with tampons?

I personally hate how so many people feel the need to incorporate any R8 lights in their car. They are only meant for an R8.

I put a 350Z dipstick in my R8.

 

OMG YES! Just trying to be different, I hate seeing unoriginal z's that just copy another. So instead of acting like a 17 year old rice cake and putting in neons I thought I'd try that. And yes, it would be used to light up my audio system.

 

lol nobody uses neons anymore its all about led's u can uy them pre wired for 12v on ebay 20 for $4 just started with mine today lighting up the footwells and changing the maplights im putting 10 in each side
