Default Need a strut bar that will clear.

Ok so after installing my 3/8 powerlab plenum spacer, I noticed that I didn't have the "spacers" to make my OEM strut bar fit over the plenum. So I called up ConceptZperformance and they stated that " people were complaining about "hood" closure with the spacers that they were providing. So I tried stacking washers lol. That didnt work out too well, don't want to make it real ghetto. So I think I'm just gonna get an aftermarket Strut Bar that will clear. Anybody know which ones will clear? Thanks!

Actually thinking about doing that, as BigCloud suggested as well earlier this evening.

just go to home depot and buy a ton of washers. I went through that with the powerlab spacer and I had to lift it up a few centimeters. Than adjusted the strut power to go up a bit and now it clears.

You need to get the thin rounded fender washers from Home Depot. It's very easy to do it without hitting the hood, plenum, or even seeing the washers.

Strut bars that clear completely without spacers (but they go "around" plenum, avoiding the top): APS - no longer available, have to find used
Crawford - made to order (two weeks)
Stillen - Available

Strut bars that "help" clear plenum but still need spacers: CUSCO, JIC

.

Good to know. Maybe considering the Kinetix V Plenum manifold.
