Front Turn Signal Install
I read with interest about replacing the front turn signals to get rid of the orange bulb, but I am confused about installing them.
I read where one guy removed the bolt on top of the headlight housing and wiggled it around to get it installed. I also read where one guy removed the inner wheel fender to get access to the back of the headlight housing. Any thoughts on which is easier. I have the bulbs, and started the first method only to get very frustrated, and with alot of patience could proabaly get it done that way, but if removing the inner fender takes just 10 min, that might be a better way to go.
Any thoughts from someone who's done one or both.
Thanks

my way is long to type but easy to do IMO.
I took out the factory jack, and jacked up the car, just till the wheel was barely touching, this let me have much more room to work.
next I removed 2 screws near the fender edge, along with 3 rivets near the engine bay on the othe side of the tire and on top.
this let me pull the fender walls down, and then remove the bulb. it worked for me, first time doing it, took maybe 15minutes each side, but it was pretty easy, if you have VERY small hands you can possibly do it without jacking up the car, but personally I dont think its worth it, its easy to jack it up.

I did the top method. Even if your hand is small enough, you won't fit them down there. You have to work mainly with your index and middle finger (and thumb). Its pretty easy to take it out. You just have to rotate it and pull out (I just used my index and middle finger to rotate it) Just have to pull it as back as you can and pull up so that the bulb can angle down. Once it out of the housing you can drop it down and pull it up by the wires. Switch the bulb and repeat the process backward. Drop, angle down to get into the housing and twist.
You have to unscrew the top bolt on the housing to get more clearance (you'll need it)
I was about to do the fender but without jacking it up it would be harder than doing the top method. Plus I didn't want to get my hands dirty with all the dirt and brake dust.

Thanks for all the help. I did the work this afternoon.
I tried to do it through the top. I used a big pair of tweezers, and it was actually easy.
Thanks for the encouragement.
