So I picked up some micro suede today at a local fabric shop. I got lucky and got it on a super sale for Labor Day so it cost close to nothing. I got 5 square yards for 35 dollars and a few cans of spray on fabric glue, 3M of course. I got done with the A pillars and door inserts. I will do the roof liner tonight or tomorrow. here is the finished product. Let me know what you think.

next thing up to do is going to be black suede with silver stitching shift boot...after the roof liner gets complete

looks decent. the a pillars are nice, id go with a less contrasting color on the arm rest tho.. doesnt flow. just my .02.
Less materials/colors the better aesthetically.. look at OEM cars, they stick to very few thematic textures in the one area.. kind of like a house.
PLus the darker stuff will hide dirt much longer.
good job tho, i remember doing that with leather to my first 300zx.
I did a terra cotta suede and leather on mine, and will do a dark charcoal suded over the dash panels and headliner, and parts of the carbon fiber door panels soon.
contrast stitched to match the seats.. veray niceah.
Its fun to do too...Cant do DIY on upholstery here in AZ, 3m or not.. the sun will fry the glue if its not professional grade from a glue gun.. interior get over 160 degrees in the summer sometimes.
Good job, and remember less can sometimes be more. Google lamborghini reventon interior or gallardo supperleggera interior.. get some ideas on what parts to use the suede, what parts to leave alone.

yeah i did just those 4 things, the door inserts look much better and lighter in poerson, they accent the aluminum and silver in side the car well in person.

I will be doing the roof liner tomorrow in black. I got caught up doing all pillars on a Q45. I used 3M fabric adhesive, you can find it at wallmart for like 10 bucks. I got my fabric from a place called Hancock Fabrics locally. Believe it or not, wallmart has micro suede for 2.77 a yard, the one locally did not carry black.
I am surprised that no one noticed the M3 in the photos yet lol...not much of german car lovers here i guess.

the car is lowered on eibach pro springs, it has 18x10 TR MT1 wheels all around in a +25 offset with 20mm spacers in the rear and 10mm spacers in the front, BMP roof and BMP stillen wing with JP Vizage type B BMP front lip. The car its self is chrome silver. Sorry that I have no pics of the whole car. I will wash it and get some pics up ASAP.
very cool. in for roof liner pics!
im actually thinking a full dash job might look great starting with everything BUT the radio/shifter surround and the tach cluster ...that is after seeing the gallardo pics.
