Default Quik Latch hood pins

Hello,

I was flipping through youtube(watching flying car hood videos) and came accross a helpful recommendation.

I found this website for a unique hood pins.
http://www.quik-latch.com/index.html

Here is the original Quik latch.

This a different style on the Quik latch.

This is a smaller, discreet version of the Quik latch.

These are videos of the Quik latch.

Currently the latches have no locks. Locks are being developed soon.

I am not affliated with the company.

I just want to share information with fellow enthusiasts.

I hope this helps,
Lboy06.

Seems like you'd want self-locking nuts to make sure it won't come loose.

How tightly do they hold the stud? Is there any up-down play after they're locked on?

Any idea what those units weigh?

Wow, $400!! I thought CNC machining was supposed to make stuff LESS expensive.
