Default Quik Latch hood pins

Hello,

I was flipping through youtube(watching flying car hood videos) and came accross a helpful recommendation.

I found this website for a unique hood pins.

This a different style on the Quik latch.

Currently the latches have no locks. Locks are being developed soon.

Seems like you'd want self-locking nuts to make sure it won't come loose.

How tightly do they hold the stud? Is there any up-down play after they're locked on?

Any idea what those units weigh?

Wow, $400!! I thought CNC machining was supposed to make stuff LESS expensive.

i'm seriously wondering wtf makes these things worth $3-400...i mean really??? f*ck, aerocatch pins are under $100... *mind blown*
