It's not as simple as you might think.
The gauge cluster needs to come out. That means you need to remove the four screws at the bottom of the steering column (one is located under the steering wheel height adjustment lever) and remove the lower steering column. To get the lower steering column off you might have to remove the lower dash cover driver side. To get the lower dash off you might have to remove the kick plate. The reason I say "might" is you can remove these parts by bending them and working them out. This is up to you.
Anyways, once you get the lower steering column removed, there are 4 gold colored screws up under the gauge cluster.
Remove these screws and the upper part of the steering column with the gauge cluster is ready to lift out.
Just remember there is a plug that needs to be disconnected.
Once you get the gauge cluster out the three circles on the back pop off and you will see a two screws. Remove these screws the the cover should come off.

Just got done reinstalling mine.

Unless of course, its a sticker. Then it should just peel off. Goo Gone works great on sticker glue.

to take that piece off you have to:
-remove kick plate
-remove driver side under dash
-remove steering wheel surround
-remove gauge cluster
-remove gauge frame
-remove cluster
-separate 2 pieces

also note the top piece is not its own piece. its a whole piece

P.S. WTF u trying to do?
