Default Weather strip

Few months back, i had to remove the driver's weather strip to remove the A or B pillar, I removed both of them anyways. Before i removed the strip, i heard wind noise from the B pillar side. But now i hear the wind noise from the A pillar side almost right next to my ear. When i look at the strip near the A pillar, the window doesn't roll up in between the strip gap. About like 2~3 inches are not sitting on the strip. Will I be ok if i use silicon to extend out the strip to prevent from the air coming in from the gap? OFC, i need to wait till it drys before i roll up the window.

did you check to make sure it's all tucked into the right spots on that aluminum bar that screws into the a pillars?
