I would assume not.
I doubt you will incurr electrical problems.
Sealing the vents would defeat the purpose.
Get used to cleaning ( or NOT cleaning) the engine more.
Just being honest before anyone else jumped in.

I have a veilside, pressure washer is just fine, just dont blast it right in there. You stand to blow off a vacuum line as the real danger more than anything else. The electrical components are well sealed on this car.

My VIS has huge vents right above the intake, and it cake with CF drip tray, but the way its designed it doesn't block any airflow above the intake.

If you have an aftermarket intake, then yeah, if you're worried above electrical stuff- I agree with above, its no problem. You can pressure wash your engine and shouldn't have electric problems. (not recommended ofc). lol.

I have a bottom tray that I put on when it rains, it's normally cooler anyway during the rain period. Other then that I don't have it on. It (2) came with the hood when I bought it, and I replaced the screws they used with my own to hold it nice and tight. I blow out the vents from the top with my electric Toro Leaf lower ( $29.90 at Home Depot) before I remove the covers, and I get no leaks. I don't like water spots either.

Anytime. I have the CF Seibon Hood. Really does the job. I have the vortech s/c, jwt cams, etc. etc., couldn't be without 400+ hp. And the hood works great. Also I have no problems with heat, as the rain cools everything done anyway.
