Hello,

I'm a recent 350z owner 2003 Black. Love the car to death hate the problems it came with, Tranny, drivers window wont work, but it's all being taking care of slowly. I've been reading and getting advice for a few months and this is my first post. Well I like a lot of the 07+ parts hood, headlights and tails and will hopefully be making some investments soon. I was curious though if you could change the color of the top little yellow section on the outide top corner of the headlights to say red or blue? Is it just a simple led light switch or would it be much more complicated? if anyone has any info on this or done this help would be greatly appricated. i like how helpful everyone seems and I'm really excited to start modding my 350 and make it my own.

not known of anyone doing red or blue but i know of it done clear "stealth"

 

I'm going to say it's probably going to be illegal. Most states have laws stating red and blue lights on vehicles are strictly for emergency vehicles. ie ambulances, police, fire, etc. I was going to run the Front Marker LEDs in blue but a note on the retailers site said look into them to be sure they're legal in your state and sure enough, state of Michigan it's illegal to have any blue or red lights on your car. Unless it's something like a neon kit but those are strictly for show & illegal to be turned on while driving... if you really want to though and have the know how or can find someone who does surely it's possible.

 

i dont think hes talking about the turn signal.. hes talking about the LED strip we have on our 06 and up headlights...

The headlight will need to be taken apart and modded.. and its very labor intensive.
May wanbt to do a full rework while youre in there...

lightwerkz.net does good work and can do anything you want to the light.
