If you wanted a charcoal or purple car you should have bought one. It would be less expensive than painting yours.

AS marques1 mentioned - about $5,000.

A complete restoration involves removing the engine and painting the engine bay. Lots of man hours - big bucks. Painting seldom adds value to the car. A non-OEM color will hurt resale. That is why members trade for a different color rather than paint.

As Davidv mentioned. You are wanting a oem color silverstone, then either sell your car and buy a silverstone z or do a direct trade with someone that wants a red car, It is not that hard.

First, is your car paid off. If not pay your damn car off first.

secondly, if your car is paid off post in the regional forum and post a thread. See if anyone will do a direct trade, your red 350 for their silverstone 350. Understand that depending on the mileage or the condition of the cars you may have to put money on top or they might have to. If the cars are in about the same condition and mileage just do a direct trade with them.

well, then you probably should be putting that 5,000 dollars you are trying to put towards your paint job in paying your car off, lol. I think it is so funny people mod their cars and can't even pay their car off. Anyhow, it is your money so do what you want with it. Waste it, burn it....whatever your heart desires. You could also send it to me so i can double that money, lol.

Not trying to be an *** but you should be putting that money towards paying your debt off. Coming from a person that bought my first house at the age of 21 years old.

Even after spending $5000 there is no guarantee you end up with what you want. I don't
know what year your car is and what you paid for it. But with the way things are with the Z value, $5000 is probably a third of what you paid. Too much.

Sell your car; buy the factory color of your choice.

Doesn't matter what your color is on the outside, once you paint it and open the hood it's always the original color. Unless you R&R engine and everything else that gets in the way), it's always the original color.
