I ordered the fuzion hood which the site said would fit the 03-08 Zs. Well it doesn't fit on my 08. I love the hood. Anyone know if there's a similar 08+ version?

Off it for what you bought it for and try again...if you ship it back - its gonna cost ya...then they will get you for 20% restocking fee...then add on some other shiet to **** you off even more...

You shouldn't have to pay restocking or return shipping on something they said would fit but doesn't. If you paid with a credit card and cannot get a return authorization from the company, you can probably reverse the charge for the item. Keep a record of your conversations and/or emails with the vendor in the event you have to go the CC route.

I've gotten money back through my CC company on two significant purchases when the item wasn't satisfactory and the vendor wouldn't rectify the problem, so I know it can be done.

 

yep, dtm hosed me really badly, i came out with every dime back thru my cred card company.

 

Thanks for the tips, guys! It's pretty crazy about 75% of the sites I've looked at say that the fuzion hood will fit "'03-'08" or "'02 and up"

I guess now I need to find a hood that I like that will fit

 

That sucks man but that's why you should buy from the reputable vendors who can confirm that it fits before you buy it.

Hopefully you can sell it locally rather than ship it.

 

yup selling it local is the best choice. shipping something that big can get expensive.

 

i has a similar problem when i bought an essay paper online that was like 20 pages (im an electronics engineer..when will i ever need to to writeups on problems faceing out society..???) anyways it cost me 300 and i got back a garbage paper and had a fight with them and they woulndt do anything so i called my credit card company and told them them i did not get what i paid for and as soon as i mention that this is a fraudulent clame they had a few people calling me to ask about it. credit card jumps at anything its thinks is fraudulent. i think it was the magic word ahahah
