Carbon Fiber Headliners - production to begin very soon
This all started alittle more than a year ago when I began looking into doing a Carbon Fiber Headliner for myself. In the search to find a way to make one myself I came across a manufacturer who was willing to engineer and design a prototype for me.
It has been a lenghty process filled with disappointments along the way. I got alot of inquiries about the headliner but I held off on details until I was able to provide more information.
I just got off the phone with my manufacturer and have been told I will have prototypes in hand right after the holiday. Once I receive them I will take pictures and post them. Arrangements to take orders will follow once I am able to gauge interest. If you guys want them let me know!!!
Also custom options will be available. Want a cutout for gauges or ICE???...I will have it made as a custom order. The sky's the limit!!!...You want it???!!...just ask!!!
Prices to be announced shortly; finalizing details now.

+1 on cracking to fit. the headliner is semi-rigid for a reason, to clip and squeeze into place.
hopefully your end product won't be short, as the tendency when making these things are pulling off molds of the original, but they fail to remember to extend the original to compensate for resin shrinkage during the curing process...
good luck. post picts when done.

That's definately part of the plan. Just didn't want to go there until I was ready. Once the prototype is in my hands I'll sponsor up. Afterall as part of the Z community we need to support each other!!!
