dont get megan! the passenger side doesnt fit and they give you the runaround! but the driver side is perfect just sits as high as the sparco one that i had to buy for the passenger side

Why didn't the passenger side bracket fit? Is the problem that it doesn't clear the floor? Would it fit if a spacer was used and longer bolts? Is the problem do to the bolts holes just not matching up?

I just bought a set of Sparco Evo 2 Plus seats for my g35 coupe and I am not sure what rails to use. I am 6'3" and don't want to sit high because I will need to fit with a helmet.

I think a guy on g35driver had said they fit with spacers but that might have been another rail. I have been reading way too much trying to figure out what seat to run.

thats exactly what i did used a spacer and longer bolt.. but just to realize that the seat than would sit 80 degrees to the right rather than perfect perpendicular. the front bolts like up perfectly but the left rear is completely wrong.. do yourself and favor and learn from my mistake and just buy sparco rails. even sparco rails needed a little bit mod to fit perfectly.

Thanks you for answering. I think I am gonna just go with the Megan for my seat because it will sit the lowest from what I have read.

I will prob just ebay the passenger side if I can't mod it. I can prob just cut and reweld the back part that didn't fit for you.

I can get a sparco for cheap enough so if I have to buy both it will be fine because it would be about the same price to get the 2 Megan Racing rails ($102 shipped) and then get the sparco for $100 if I had bought two sparco rails. I am only gonna spend a little more to have the lower mount that I wanted.

But thank you for your advice! I should just make my own but I just had back surgery and I will actually be having a friend do all the work and welding for me. I just wanted to make it easier on him

Well I just lucked out... I bought a set of the Megan Racing brackets for $102 shipped from a website and then I waited out on ebay and got a left over Sparco rail for a g35 from the guys at Titan Racing. Can't beat $25 shipped for the passenger side Sparco rail (new open box).

So I will take the Megan one (since I don't need the passenger one anymore) and see what it takes to make it fit and do a right up for those who are interested. Give me a while because I just had back surgery a few weeks ago... I will take pics if I can while my friends do the work and I lay on the couch in the shop (or give them the dslr and have them note it). I am sick of the stock G35 coupe seat rocking (frame broken in two spots).

Exacly what I'm saying. But Megan comes in pairs unfortunately.. But the sparco passenger is a must. If I were you just get both sparco to make it easy and the sparco rail is better quality. It does need a slight
Mod for the holes to fit exact but not a deal

The Megan racing brackets come with both drivers and pass for $100 shipped. The drivers fits perfect. The Pass is really off. I have mine fitting with the tranny tunnel side with bigger holes and the door side with a 2.5in spacer on front and 2.75 in spacer on back. The holes had to be made larger. I am 6'3'' and my head hits on passenger side but on driver side I can wear a helmet no problem.
I will be buying a new sparco rail for the pass side. My seats are the Sparco Evo 2 Plus so the backs don't recline. I suggest buying a different brand passenger rail but buying the kit because the megan drivers sits super low and is less then a sparco rail.
I have the seat on Pass side out for a road trip but once I reinstall it I will take pics of my set up. Spacers are made out 1/4 flat sock and a 1in pipe cut to fit. It isn't the best setup but it works for now (I never really have passengers as my car is super loud and gutted in the rear for track.

hahhaa wow megan literally doesnt want to fix the passenger seat problem even though I've complaint about this. I even asked the to refund just the passenger side but they said they only refund pairs... So now i have the spare passenger rails.. i wont even sell it because thats just messed up. Probably sell it to a metal recycling company. MEGAN FAIL

reviving an old thread again! Going to be getting a set of the r100s soon, is the consensus on the megan bracket that the pass side could be fixed with a cut and reweld? From the descriptions was one of passengers ones worse than the others? One was just off on the left rear but the other required major spacers? I have seen some manufactures have different brackets for autos or 6/sp, I though they were the same maybe they are not?

On my 5at g coupe I had to use a 1.5in piece of 1/2'' copper pipe as a spacer. I got some longer bolts that where stronger and mounted them loosely. I filled the pipes with some silicone stuff and tightened the bolts all the way. I rarely have passengers in the car and if I need to we take my fiancee's car. I like how low the megan driverside sits but the passenger side sits way to high for me (6'3''). I would buy the kit and search for a better passenger rail. You would still be saving money over buying two sparco rails.
