Default Car Cover questions

So, I am stuck without a garage for the next 3 months until my lease is up, and my Z is my daily driver. Does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to outdoor car covers? I've been doing some searching, and quite frankly I'm completely lost. I live in Northern Ohio so I have to deal with snow, and it would be nice for the car to stay clean a little longer between washes. I essentially need something to put on it overnight to give it some protection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a Covercraft Noah from www.bigskycarcovers.com

I have these for several of my cars, and have been using them for maybe 10 years. Big Sky usually has the best prices by a few $, too, and they're great to deal with.

I wouldn't recommend putting a car cover on a car that is dirty. The wind will move the cover around and put small scratches in your paint.

I have posted a comprehensive "Noah" critique. Search.

Thanks. Just read the whole thread and will likely be ordering one within the next few days after a little bit of follow-up searching to set my mind at ease.

I have a Noah cover plus the Weathershield HD cover on top of it. I have had this setup for 3 years and it works great. The Noah cover will saturate if it rains steady for at least 24 hours. The Weathershield covers are waterproof but the thread in the seams will scratch your paint over time from wind buffeting and/or simply taking the cover off and putting it on again.

The Noah cover acts like a pad and protects the car from door dings and the Weathershield cover's seam stitching. The Weathershield cover is waterproof so the car never gets wet. There is no problem with condensation with this set up in spite of what the manufacturer may say. I also bought the covers with grommets on the four corners (custom option) so I can put soft nylon ropes with plastic hooks on the cover to keep it from blowing off on very windy days (which it will do). The two middle grommets are useless.

And yes, it's a pricey solution but so what...it protects your car 100%.

I got my covers from BigSkyCovers in Montana. They are great people.

It's made for both outdoor and indoor use.
I have the Technalon Car Cover, 07-08 350Z Nismo. Pricey, but quality cover.
