I own a 2008 6MT Black 350 Base. Bought it last year at 4000 miles and now she has 21000 miles on her.
First Question: My diver side mirror housing seems loose. How do I get in there and tighten it back to the door? Hopeful I don't have to go though the door interior.
Second Question: What can I use on the plastic area on the door which is holding the mirror. It is a black plastic material which looks dull from the elements. What product is best to refurbish this area? Also, the weatherstripping looks tired. What product should I use on the weatherstripping?
I guess this is really three questions.
Thanks in advance for the help.

You can use 303 Aerospace protectant on the black plastic material, also great on all trim and rubber.

The small triangle plastic piece where the tweeter goes has to be pulled off then the nuts can be tightened up from there. Not hard just be careful as that plastic piece is easy to break.

its easy to break that way because theres a large tab on the bottom of it holding the door panel.. the door panel needs to come off to remove the tweeter housing.. thats why yours broke.
Also ive found that using a silicone on it like other rubber looks terrible.
If you really want to recondition it, use duplicolor plastic trim paint.
Its a medium shine black spray w excellent adhesion qualities and will make it look brand new again.

I use Turtle wax Ice wax on mine. It dries without leaving a haze. I use it on all the black trim on my cars. Everyone always asks me how I keep the black trim looking so new. This stuff is only good for trim, get a good wax for the rest of the car.
