How wide is your wing?
Like I said above, I went with a smaller wing (GTC-200) because I was concerned that a larger one would apply too much stress on the hatch.
The dimensions of the wing are on APR's website.

There is no doubt that is the best way to set up a wing on a track car. I seriously considered it, but just didn't want to deal with the inconvenience of removing the wing every time I needed to access the trunk.

have you seen the new VOltex Type 3 rear wing stand they came out with to incorporate a cover for the OE spoiler holes?

i think it would provide enough dissipation of the downforce that the wing creates as not to crack a CF rear hatch...

DriveLineSales has got a lot of nice images on their thread.

hmm. yea time for custom bases.. did you try looking into the S2000 mounts for the Voltex wings? those are more universal and you can probably create a metal plate to go underneath the top layer of the hatch.

something like this

On the outside, additional support is provided by splitter support rods. They are adjustable, so the wing angle can still be changed. On the inside, I have 1/4 inch aluminum plates.
Great work. I looked on APR's website for some downforce numbers based on AoA, but couldn't locate any. What did you use to compare the 200 to the 300 wing?

That's exactly how the Fulcrum wing is designed, which ensures load transfer to the chassis as well. I'm back-and-forth on which wing to get (the APR is quite a bit cheaper), but the Fulcrum wing has printed drag/df data based on AoA available, which I like.

I found the CFD data after all. It was on the APR website.
