Here are mine... silver looked ridiculous on Interlagos Fire. Painted the door handles the same color as the wheels, and have the "Z" emblems (instead of the Nissan hamburger) on front and back painted the same.

Painted door handles is a must.

I dont know what Nissan was thinking, they stick out like a sore thumb and disrupt the lines.

I have to disagree with this too. The factory door handle offers a nice contrast on the darker color Z's and the best thing about it IMO is they gets tied in real well by aftermarket wheels with a machine lip. With all black wheels though the handles should be painted to match however.

I'm a fan of the ones color-matched to the cars. I don't see a huge improvement if you paint them black and the car isn't black though. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

oem handles are fine for lighter colored cars, but look horrible on anything else. unless our car is a sliver or gray, you should color match the handles to the car. ...not a fan of blacked out handles, unless the car is black.

I think the door handles are one of the least things about my car. I think it might look better flat black.

I tried flat black for a while thinking it would go good with my wheels but I ended up repainting them

Questions for the paint experts : I don't know if it is the Florida sun or what, but my passenger side door handle keeps "bubble-ing" up. This is the second one. Is always the passenger side, which is rare since it is barely used.

The first time it also broke inside, so I bought one on eBay (used) and replaced it. Now is totally bubbled up again. So...

1. Since it has all the bubbles, I will guess I am supposed to peel it before painting. Any ideas on how to get that done right?

2. Can these handles "handle" a powder coat? I would imagine they can handle some heat, the question would be how much...

Is it my bad luck or others have the paint bubble issue? They have never been painted, is the original OEM coat coming off. I can post pics tomorrow.

Thanks.
