I paid 15 dollars in customs charges to get it into Canada noob. The first potential buyer offered me 100 bucks and I accepted it. It wasn't till he mentioned how it was missing the collar that I went back to mkn. Unfortunately you fail to miss the point which obviously the mods picked up on. Once I found out it was missing a key component I didn't feel comfortable selling it to another member. Sorry boys but I'm not the bad guy here, I'm sure all of you would have done the same thing.
Heck once mkn gets it back he can put it back up for sale and this time not disclose any info. about missing parts or implying that it's partically brand new and used for only 50kms
Item has been shipped back and tracking number provided. Please refund my paypal account.

please tell me where in this picture you see a white collar

let compare it new

if my pic had a white collar piece and i didnt send it to you its my fault but seriously grow some cojones and try to install it with your OEM collar.
if you bought a TWM shifter you'll have to remove your OEM "white collar" probably then you'll remember my cojones in your face
geez, you two are still going back and forth with this stupid shi*? holy crap...

MKN, The point is, in your for sale thread all you said was
. That, in itself, gives the impression that the shifter is still in "like new" condition. The "misleading" part was the fact that you didn't say it was sold "as is", nor did you mention that the collar, which is included with a new part, was missing. That's where it became a problem.
On the other hand, the buyer probably could have done a little more research and asked for clarification, as to whether everything was included or not, prior to buying.
So, that's -1 for each of you. Not pointing fingers at 1 or the other. Either way, what's done is freakin done. Stop acting like children, and put this to bed.

Used less then 50 miles on it

Wow...
This is the kinda thing that scares me about second hand purchasing (or any ebay/money-saving purchases over the net.) You go into a purchase expecting the seller to be as honest about their item as you are (I'm very honest about things I sell, almost to a fault.)
It's ridiculous that the buyer has to assume all responsibility for the purchase in order to make sure the seller isn't ripping him off or scamming him, *especially* over wording (or the lack thereof) and or a picture. If I was looking for a Nismo Short Throw, I'd likely have never known of the white collar being an integral part of the assembly (as it turns out that's a major component in vibration reduction according to the TWM thread unless I misread it).
Research and homework help protect the buyer, but at the same time the seller needs to assume responsibility especially when selling something they, themselves, knew to be broken and or incomplete and omit that part.
I'd be surprised if OP sees his money with the attitude and behavior that the seller has displayed. IF he does get his money back, it's still a bad deal on his behalf considering he paid to ship it back and is likely to lose more money to Paypal fees (minimal amount, but still, wasted money.)
Best of luck OP. Sadly we all need reminders that caveat emptor is still very much alive, well, and thriving today.

^^I think this is the most accurate interpretation of the situation^^
In short, if mkn did not act in such an unprofessional manner from the start I'm sure we could've come up with a more civil solution. I took this route out of principle and learned a good lesson from it. I've bought many parts on this forum and for the most part all the guys I've dealt with have been top notch and very respectful.
I'm finished arguing my side as I think the above post summed it all up nicely. I'll been sure to update the thread when I get my refund.

The short shifter was shipped back to MKN two weeks ago at my expense. It was delivered to his residence yesterday.
MKN has refunded my money.
Mods please close thread.
