What's wrong with your lugs? Lock nuts and don't have the key?[/QUOTE

Bought the car, lug nuts never came to mind. First time wanting to take wheels off which was to plasti dip them, I realized NO key...-facepalm- and a good lesson learned

Lugs look to be ordinary 19 or 21mm 6 point socket. Are you trying to remove the wheels with the stock hardware?

well I plan to measure and use a socket that barley fits it, and hammer it in good, then use a 1/2 breaker bar and hope for the best.
As far as the stock hardware ill only use the jack. I hope to order lug nuts today so I can attempt it next week...hopefully I do not get a flat till then.
I could get new locks only but I don't like the chrome lug nuts.

As sparco said, it looks like normal 6 point lugs.

But yes if they are indeed locks use the plan you said. Make sure it's not a good socket though, since it will be destroyed by the time your done.

Look into Gorilla. I love my Gorilla lugs, IMO better than OEM quality.

I have both. I originally bought the blue but they are too much for my car so I bought the black. Still use the blue on my winter wheels that are white stockies. I prefer the black though anyday.

Would anyone recommend using plasti-dip to "paint" a fiberglass lip?

It would probably hold up to rock chips a littler better than standard spray paint thats for sure. Im thinking about spraying my entire car because my clearcoast is turning into dust. Thats until I can afford a legit paint job.

It would add another layer of protection to your lip and shield it from mild scratches and rock chips. I would recommend it.

So what do you think? Prep the lip, paint it and then plastidip it or should I skip the painting and just plastidip after it's prepped?

I would not paint it personally if you are going to cover it in PD in the end. Also, Plasti Dipping over fresh paint is not advised as some have experienced a staining of the clear coat (usually fixable with time and sun). It is advised to wait at least 6 months after paint before applying PD. So yes, I would just have it prepped and then dip it.

It appears you did a fairly good job with the Plastidip. However, I would peel that crap off my car before the sun sets tonight. That is ok for a Honda, but a Z deserves better,
