Default Stillen Series 3 front fascia finally installed!

Hey everyone, haven't been on here or posted for awhile.. Thought I might update you guys on my new bumper that was painted/installed last month! All I can say is I've definitely noticed more heads turning when I'm driving through town now lol.

On to the pics! Freshly washed and waxed (NOT the bumper, everything else was waxed though! Thought I might wax it because my dad never really was into hand-washing or waxing the car so I want to treat her how she's supposed to be treated lol)

Do the side markers you have on the stillen fit the stock bumper as well? Truthfully, ive never really liked this bumper, but looks good :]

Yes they do, and thanks!

Yes I plan on getting the Series 3 sideskirts and a carbon fiber hood, not exactly sure which hood to get yet though.. Rims are coming up first before any of those mods.

All my plans have been put on hold though since I just got word that my grandfather has passed away tonight and I will put my money towards the trip fund to the Philippines for his funeral... The trip isn't cheap, I believe it's around $1700 per person... :/

There is a slight haze on the passenger side headlight, but what you're seeing is the condensation that hasn't cleared up. I've been getting really bad condensation, from what I'm assuming is the fact that my friend and I removed the parking lights when installed the HIDs since they ruined the look. We tried putting some blue LEDs in their place, but it's ridiculously hard to reach your hand through the wheel well and try and unplug the lights without removing the bumper.

My friend is too lazy to help me remove my bumper lol

removing the bumper is actually easier than you think. I've done it like a million times.

the bumper looks a little out of place on its own
but i think once you get a good set of real wheels (rims) and lower a little, then it will start to come together.
would do wheels and lower before ss and hood. black out 06-08 headlights as well to go with those sidemarkers.

I think the bumper looks pretty good. As a side observation, it reminds me of a Porsche's front bumper.

Love it man! That's the bumper I want. I don't understand the hate on this bumper. Maybe cause I'm older guy and not into the JDM drift trend of Nismo. It's a Euro style that Stillen was going for that's why it's more of the Porsche look to it. I show my friends pics of it and they are non bias and think I should go that route too. Awesome man keep it up!

Yeah you're right, I guess it's just the fact that I don't have a real garage to work in or the right tools. But when I was with my friend, it seemed to be a relatively painless process.

Thanks! And I agree 100%.

Definitely. I was at first thinking of trading the Z in for an STI, but I just couldn't give her up. My plans right now are some nice new Rota Grids (18" flat black), sideskirts (probably Stillen Series 3), Seibon TS cf hood, rear bumper (undecided) and a lip spoiler (undecided, maybe the OEM?)

As for the headlights, I'm not sure if I should just get a set of non-06 headlights for now and have them painted black, and save up for the 06 headlights later? I can't stand the look of how the headlights look now, it just doesn't flow with the look I'm trying to pull off.

Either way, by the end of the summer I'll hopefully have some nice 06+ headlights with the STI lens and halo mod.

Thank you, and yes a lot of my friends commented on my bumper with the same observation!

holla!
Your car is truly beautiful bro. As for the steel braces, I thought they were required (I bought it with them mounted). Is there a way for me to take them off, or is it too late (holes in the bumper?)

Thanks man! I pm'd you about the OEM lip spoiler btw.

Thanks man! I wanted to get this bumper for it's pure beauty haha, but also because it's very unique (at least in my area). It seems to be a very common sight to see a Z with the Nismo V2 front bumper over here.

Thanks, me too!
And yes I drive this car to high school every day, so I'm quite used to the seniors hating on her lol.

Thank you! I can't wait to finish the exterior mods I have planned for the Z by this summer.
She will be transformed by September if all goes well.

Looks great, love that bumper, and wish i was allowed to run one. Only reason to buy it is for the brake ducts.
