Default No epic fail here...

I was worried when I first read your description. I was expecting an epic fail with strip after strip of electrical tape covering the bottom of the bumper.

However looking at the pics, it looks fine to me - especially if you're trying to cover some paint chipping or scratches on that lower part of the bumper (I had this same, common problem). It looks about the same as the carbon fiber pieces that some people install to cover this part of the front bumper.

Pretty good for tape. What exactly did you use?

Its just your average black vinyl tape. Bought at a local hardware store. (Home Depot)

I painted mine black, over painters tape, to test the look. I actually liked it... until I went with the Nismo V2 kit

Looks good. Similar to those who paint the middle part of V1 front lips blacks

just get the lip instead. get more black on your exterior if you're not gonna paint it otherwise it has nothing to match with if you just slap it on.
