Ok ok... i'll go $175.

I should work at a dealership with those low-balling skills don't you think?

It's just the outer lens that is all trashed... it looks easily fixable honestly. I'm betting the projectors weren't touched and once you get the outer lens cleaned up and some closer to stock color temp HID's in they will work great.

Make sure things are sealed well so water can't get inside. Get some clear silicone weather sealant and cover up holes and such that need it. The silicone isn't super adhesive so if you have to remove it later on you can without much difficulty.

The body shop said that the headlights are ruined, along with the wiring.

The shop says they can order a brand new pair for $400 which seems like a high price to me. Where can I find good headlights for cheaper?

Sounds like I could get a custom pair from www.cincitydesigns.com for around that much.. What do you guys think

a few things that i question about the set up. you have an 04 and those are 06 headlights. 06 headlights not only use a whole different wiring harness but also the pigtails for the other bulbs like turns signal and running lamps are different. the clocking isnt right on them. so how were those bulbs installed and locked into place.? also, does a 04 hid fit into an 06 hid? i know when i put my 06 headlights back in my 06(had 03s in it when i got it) i didnt check but it didnt seem that the aftermarket hid would fit into an 06 hid bulb location. so makes me wonder how the bulb is held in there? also theres 2 big holes in the headlight. one is covered by a cap the other by the hid ballast, id be willing to bet one of those arent covered letting your moisture in. if i was you i take them out see what was going on. stick them in the oven if needed, open up clean them out then reseal properly. not hard at all. i just open up my 03 headlights i had laying around.

btw the previous owner of my car gave me the facotry 06 headlights that were in my car originally for free i was pretty excited.

These headlights are now for sale. I went ahead and got new oem headlights for my z, so I no longer have any use for them.

A post will be made soon in the marketplace forum regarding them. Pm me if you are interested

Thanks
