Looking to see if a 03-05 Chargespeed Bottomline lip would fit an 06+ bumper?

My rationale is that the only differences (that I know of) between the 03-05 vs 06-08 bumpers are the grill, apron and reflectors. So assuming there's nothing else different, the bottom contour of the bumpers should be the same. Which leads me to believe that a lip like the bottomline (where the lip doesn't come up into the apron) would fit both bumpers?

This is a serious question so please no stupid comments unless you have experience or can verify either way.

im gonna say no if you notice there are 2 diffrent lips 03-05 and 06-09 if they all fit it would be 03-09

 

i have this lip and it wont you will need the 06+ bumper

 

I did notice that but sometimes companies do this for marketing purposes and to make dealers stock more items.


Can you explain the difference to me?

 

+1, the 06+ bumpers are also more alittle curved compared to the 03-05
