Arrow Carbon Fiber Nav Compartment Plate from reen

I've got carbon fiber Nav compartment filler plates ready to go. Just cut out the stiff, high-gloss, mirror finish plate to fit your gauges, switches, stereo gear, or whatever.

CNC cut for a perfect fit!

Full details HERE.

Nice. Not having to cut CF before how would you cut the holes for gauges? Holesaw?

A holesaw would work. Tape the CF plate down to a piece of wood or plastic as backing. It's also a good idea to cover the surface with masking tape while you're working on it to protect it from scratches. This also lets you sketch out your layout.

Basically, the stuff cuts in a similar fashion to plastic. Just do it in a well-ventilated area and wear a painter's mask.

There's a shopping cart link for them on www.reenmachine.com, or more specifically:

http://www.reenmachine.com/zcar/emblem_index.php

I just sorta kluged the Nav plate info onto my emblem filler page, but it'll look better soon.

Default Nav Door

Could you make an "overlay" for the nav compartment door front?

If so I would be very interested...also I would want blue on black carbon fiber.

P.S. Your pm box is full...

I don't do overlays, but there are site sponsors who do. Check out the vendor area. Also, the stuff I do is real carbon fibers, so no colors.

Odd on the PM box -- it only says 34.67% for me....I'll check on it. Thanks!

Red face Pic...

Sorry about that!

We redid the other side of the website and some files got deleted -- I got a bit too aggressive cleaning house!

I'm on the road for the weekend so I can't get them back up on the site, but here's one I happened to have on the laptop. The ones on the site (better ones) will be back up Monday night.

After you install your gauges, switches, or whatever, just put a couple of small patches of double-stick tape on the back along the side parts. It's very secure. You could use velcro patches if you wanted if you plan on removing it often for some reason.
