Gloss is thicker and once you put the lens back on it might touch the lens. Do anything but gloss and don't do a clear coat.

and don't ever give Mike@Clearcorners any business because in the end he will fawk you over like he did me.

I have painted a few headlights in my day and have used flat, satin, and gloss over time. The gloss black was my least favorite finish. Under the glossy lenses the flat looks the best IMO.

Ya the flat black has a more professional/factory look to it doesn't it. I'm definitely leaning towards that or Satin at this point.

Just not sure if flat would mesh well with gloss black paint, wheels, etc.
